Clear expectations · protected projects

Good garden work starts with a clear agreement.

These service standards explain how Grow Pros keeps scope, scheduling, materials, payment, and plant-care responsibilities clear before work begins.

Before any project begins

The signed proposal controls the job.

Website descriptions are general service summaries. Your signed proposal or service agreement contains the final project scope, price, payment schedule, exclusions, and any project-specific warranty terms.

If site conditions or requested work change, Grow Pros will pause the affected work and document the change before proceeding.

A written scope comes first

Your proposal identifies the structures, plants or plant allowance, materials, services, access assumptions, exclusions, and payment schedule included in the job. Only that written scope is included.

Changes require written authorization

Extra labor, repairs, premium plants, added materials, hidden site conditions, and customer-requested upgrades require a signed change order or revised proposal before the additional work begins.

Materials are funded before ordering

Required deposits and service payments must clear before Grow Pros commits to plants, custom materials, fabrication, or a reserved installation date. Special-order and perishable materials may be non-refundable once purchased.

Living systems carry natural risk

Weather, pests, wildlife, disease, watering, sunlight, soil outside the agreed work area, and customer care affect plant performance. Grow Pros does not promise a particular harvest, yield, or survival where conditions are outside our control.

Care responsibilities are shared clearly

At handoff, Grow Pros provides care guidance for the installed garden. The customer is responsible for timely watering, observation, access, and following the provided care instructions after completion.

Plant names and availability

Choose the crop first. Confirm the cultivar second.

Website plant names describe the crop type Grow Pros plans to install. Any cultivar shown is a preferred example, not a promise of a specific nursery label. The final planting plan records the cultivar or seed source available for the season.

Controlled substitution standard

  • Same crop type and intended kitchen use
  • Same season and compatible growth habit
  • Comparable mature size, spacing, and structure fit
  • Customer is told before installation when the preferred cultivar changes
  • Changing to a different crop type requires written customer authorization

A supplier shortage does not authorize a random plant swap. Premium, oversized, or special-order plants may change the written price and require a change order before purchase.

Seasonal refresh eligibility

A refresh is for a maintained, serviceable garden.

Package-sized refresh service assumes a reasonably maintained, accessible Grow Pros garden with serviceable structures and ordinary crop removal. Final scope is confirmed from current garden conditions and seasonal plant availability.

Quoted separately when needed

  • Overgrown or neglected-bed rehabilitation
  • Pest, disease, or invasive-root remediation
  • Structural, trellis, or irrigation repairs
  • Large soil replacement or drainage correction
  • Premium, oversized, or special-order plants
  • Difficult access, hauling, or unusual disposal

Refresh payment is due before plants and materials are ordered or the service date is reserved, unless the written proposal states otherwise.

Questions belong in the proposal

Know what is included before you sign.

Ask Grow Pros to clarify any plant allowance, substitution, access requirement, care responsibility, exclusion, or warranty term before signing. Any change will be documented in a written change order.
